Where: Knights of Columbus, Nahant

When: Saturday, March 14, 2009, 5:00 - 9:00 pm

Cost: $10/pp or $25/family

Anyone is welcome to enter the challenge, and there is still room for late additions so if anyone is interested in making chili please let us know. There will be hotdogs to eat as well.

Nahant Youth Soccer fleece jackets are now for sale. The cost is $42 for most sizes, and $47 for Adut XXL. Here is Nikki modeling the Youth Medium (10/12), and here is the embroidered logo. If you're interested, shoot us an email and we'll arrange to get you one. If it's nice weather on 5/31 we should be selling some during clinic.

Nahant Youth Soccer will be holding a fundraiser at the Tides
restraunt in Nahant on Monday, October 1st starting at 6 p.m. This will allow us to keep our registration cost low. All you have to do is eat dinner. Simple enough! We will have a 50/50 raffle and if you have anything that you would like to donate for us to raffle off send me an email; if not, just stop by and get a bite to eat. If you are unable to make it then give the Tides a call at (781)593-7500 and get something to take home -- this will still help us. Thanks for your support!

Cleat Exchange: We have used cleats in the shed for a cleat exchange. If you are interested in trying some on, please email us. Also, if you have used cleats that are in good condition we would love to add yours to the pile and make them available to kids with ever-growing feet.

Feel free to email your photos throughout the summer (when you finally get a chance to download off of your camera). We check email regularly.

Due to the rain date a few weeks ago, we've added back one more week of clinic. The last day of soccer will now be Saturday, June 23, and we will have an end-of-season ceremony to celebrate, with cake and juice. See you there!

SWAMPSCOTT TRAVEL TEAM TRYOUTS!
Back Fields, Philips Park, Swampscott (information updated 5/8/07)

ATTENTION all current and potential youth soccer players:
Swampscott Youth Soccer Association will be holding its annual tryouts for those interested in participating on a travel team. Tryouts are held to determine next year's teams - fall as well as spring. If you would like to be a part of this fun & exciting program during one or both seasons, please come to the back fields at Philips Park. Even if you are not quite sure yet, this is the only tryout that will be held so come get evaluated just in case.

We hope to see you during the time and date appropriate for your age and gender:

-U-14, Thurs, May 31st
born between Aug 1, 1993 - July 31, 1995

-U-12, Tues, June 5th
born between Aug 1, 1995 - July 31, 1997

-U-10, Thurs, June 14th
born between Aug 1, 1997 - July 31, 1998

Girls Tryouts will be held from 5:00 - 6:30 pm
Boys Tryouts will be held from 6:30 - 8:00 pm

Every player must bring a ball, water and a current small photo (1" x 1" if possible) and those new to the travel program must bring a copy of their birth certificate which SYSA will keep on file. Please wear a white or light colored shirt. Also, each player needs to be registered prior to tryouts - registration for next year's travel program is via www.swampscottsoccer.com and will only be open from May 10th thru May 28th .

Revolution Soccer Game: Nahant Youth Soccer has bought tickets to the New England Revolution vs. Real Salt Lake soccer game, June 2, 2007, at 7:30 pm in Foxborough. These tickets are available to Nahant Soccer kids and families AT NO CHARGE! This event has been a huge success in the past; the kids have a great time. Read more about the Revolutions here.

People interested should email Sue Rosa. There is NO COST but we only purchased a limited number of tickets, so if you are interested please don't wait until the last minute and be disappointed.

DEADLINE IS MAY 10 FOR RESERVING YOUR TICKETS.
